Linda thanks for sharing this video, I saw this about a year and a half ago. But what a great reminder. As humans we all just need someone to validate us. To acknowledge that we exist and have some value as we go through life. Too many people are shunned because of their appearance, religious beliefs or nationality. It needs to stop. One person can make a difference.

    Hey Linda,

This was my first time seeing this video and I enjoyed watching it. I think everybody wants and needs some validation every now and then.

But I think it becomes a problem when people look for validation all the time. Sometimes it is important to just some confidence in ourselves and our abilities without getting validation from anybody. Thanks for sharing the video I think we all know somebody like Victoria who never seems to smile.

I agree! I’m so into positive motivation but I started to see it as a problem when I watched the kids in school. I would volunteer for the elementary school classes and the kids would be rewarded for behavior that should have just been expected. The kids simply won’t do what we did at their age unless they get a reward. You’re right about this one!!
Hey, why don’t you get a picture connected to your comments?! I created a post to show you how! I’ll email you incase you don’t see this!

I always love to see blog posts about the power of positive thinking. It is so true. When you think positive things do become easier to handle. You can achieve more. Things that seemed insurmountable all of a sudden are doable. Things you don’t like doing are not so bad any longer. Thanks for the reminder. I never grow tired of hearing this message.

    Hi,

Wow, this really is one very important subject, the power of validation. I’ve heard before about this, I’ve seen movies about it and been reading a lot about. The power of validation – of thinking positive and always thinking only at the best using your pozitive energy that will help you accomplish your objectives, it is extremely great. Thank you very much for reminding it, indeed, essential!

Hey Linda thanks for reminding me that this beautiful world is full of people providing you some kind of validation and empowering me with positive energy and thoughts, but I firmly believe that we need to have right amount of self confidence in ourselves to achieve our goals not just the validation from others.

This blog helped me to acknowlege that I am letting fear take over my life. It’s so right! I need to get to know myself and quit running from my fears because I don’t want to be embarressed or hurt. It also made it so clear to me that I can (and do) make a small situation into a huge / scary story.. I create a negative situation for myself out of little to no information. I am thankful that I came across this blog, it has really helped me.
