I am a Christian to the core and eternal truth is eternal truth even if wrapped in a different package. The Law of Attraction is definitely wrapped in a different package.
An opportunity was presented to me just when I needed it. I was approached by my friend, Don Enck, about a new venture he had undertaken. I had been searching for the right business to join online.
I’ve been studying online marketing for over two years and I could see how everyone was making money! I followed many fabulous people who had found their passion and were making money when they shared. The whole process was exciting and I knew it could be done, but I wasn’t figuring out how it would work for me!
I tried a number of products, got over my fear of network marketing, learned and learned more. I was hanging out, sharing information on my blog, information that I know and love. Information that has helped me find joy in my life and I’m confident that no matter what the circumstances are , will help others find joy also.
My husband and I raised eight children on one income, he was the sole provider for our home. I’m forever grateful for his attitude of “my money is our money” as I was able to stay at home and raise our eight children. I had planned on going back to work when the kids were in high school then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and it put a speed bump in my plan.
When I first began my quest to master internet marketing, I was drawn to video. I bought a Logitech pro 9000 webcam, and a flipcam then began to make movies, but I couldn’t see how I would be able to make money with them.
It’s amazing how the law of attraction comes into play. As if I ordered it, a friend, Toni King, sent me to Simon Sinek’s movie. Simon teaches about finding the WHY. Why are we motivated to do what we do? Why was I drawn to video marketing? At Don’s request I signed up for the free account with iWowWe and it didn’t take long before I upgraded to the premium membership. With iWowWe I have found an avenue to make the money that I desire even though my circumstance doesn’t allow me to work outside the home!
I am not able to go back to work as I planned, but I am grateful that I was prepared when Don presented this opportunity to me and I am making money online~ I know that my ‘why’ will be obtained with iWowWe!

Great video, most of the things I have done it seems I’ve worked my way into the why rather than the other way round. I think most people are like that because the what is so much more tangible. But once you understand the purpose behind what you are doing, it gives you belief and motivates you. I think even the great leaders have to go through growing pains to understand their purpose so it’s not easy.
I’m reading “The Answer” by John Assaraf at the moment. It based on the Secret or LOA and helps you to create your dream business. It’s really good and is easy to follow/implement unlike some self help type books.

Why people find their way to where they do is interesting but only in the case of interesting people. Some people slot straight into a 9-5 job when they leave education and never think about trying anything else. I am the opposite, I am trying everything I can to hopefully escape that rat race as I really dont like it there!

. This became only a problem when I turned out having kids and being a stay-at-home-mom for a while, not before. Strange huh?
I think without an attitude “my money is our money” you are not able to function as a family. Once you live together and have children everything must be shared. I adore your husband for his attitude and I adore you for bringing up 8 children!
Unfortunately I know by experience how difficult it is when a husband keeps pointing out that IT is my money and THAT is your money

Thank you for sharing! I could analyze your husbands behavior (analyze, not judge) as insecurity and power – the need for power is often because of insecurity. Without knowing more about your circumstance it looks to me like you have the power and he’s insecure about it. I know from personal experience you have the harder job as a stay at home mom no matter how many kids you have!

I’ve also been a believer in the Law of Attraction ever since I’ve read a book about it. What we think about most and believe in is our reality.
I also got an advice from a real estate investor. He said that to be successful in whatever you choose to do, you must first find the WHY that makes you cry because that will be the reason for you to be fired up to getting out of bed in the morning. The HOW of it all will follow.

Had no idea you got here on such a bumpy road, i don’t know of many women who could have done that after raising 8 children and having multiple sclerosis. My mother never went back to work after her third birth.
Maybe i’ll teach her to work a computer, you never know, she might become better than me at this in the future

Linda, your post is inspiring and my “Why” is this; I was drawn to Internet marketing out of pure necessity after a friend told me to investigate the possibility of making some extra money online through Clickbank. I strapped my boots on, and set out to make successful affiliate marketing my goal. My little business took a turn however, as I discovered I enjoyed making money with Adsense and Infolinks instead while running a handful of blogs.

I keep seeing people complain about good things not happening to them, but do they do anything to welcome those things?
Your example is great, you bought a webcam even though you had no idea how to make profit with it at that moment, but things played out and you got to the money part eventually.

i believe in it. Thanks for the compliment! I don’t remember if I said in that post how much I LOVED that chapter in my life! My baby is a senior in high school, we went to get senior pictures yesterday. My current life ‘online’ has given me purpose and I won’t be an empty-nester!

Thank you for appreciating my one paycheck family! It was really exciting budgeting, and living a fun, happy, frugal life with all those little kids! We’re blessed that my husband has a great career with wonderful insurance! I can’t remember if I said in the post, I almost always had a little job, like the kids and I did a paper route and we saved our money for fun activities! It was a blast!

I love your attitude and word choice in your response. Exciting an budgeting is not something that I would put together in a sentence.
I feel like I am between jobs, always looking for something more fulfilling. Right now art and decorating really intrigue me (actually have sense I was young is what my dad says). I would like to be moving in that direction. Can you see iWowWe helping in that field?

One of my best friends and a principle at our company has a child with a congenital neuromuscular disease. He is a huge believer in the law of attractions and it shows everyday. He is probably the most positive person I’ve ever met, and when his child was born with the disease his attitude only got better. When I watched your video I saw a lot of similarities.

I really want to believe in the Law of Attraction, I mean, I read The Secret and thought it gave a really good message about the power of positive thought. But as hard as I try I feel like I either can’t stick with the hope for the Law of Attraction…I think I’m standing in my own way but I don’t know what to do! It helps to read great articles by people like you who are inspirational, but I don’t know how to apply the good tips and advice to my own life sometimes.

I am a believer of the Law of attraction. You have to visualize something for it to happen in reality. We are really using our mind and emotion to get in tune with universe.

Great article Linda with lots of information and lessons to learn. Sometimes, we ask why those things happen but I always believe that everything happens in our life is with purpose, so, better yet for not asking why for everything happens with purpose.

The Law of Attraction is such a powerful concept and I think its basis is belief in yourself. It is all attitude and mindset and somehow things seem to happen when you take care of yourself. I mean both mentally and physically. If you take take of yourself, then you can continue to take care of others. Hey … good things happen to good people.

There are a lot of ways to open up a conversation and find a common ground. Being able to talk about similar interests is an excellent ice breaker and it makes getting to know the other person a lot easier. Not every date is going to end up being a love connection but getting out there and getting a lot of practice makes the entire process much easier.

First off I want to say awesome blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your mind prior to writing. I have had trouble clearing my thoughts in getting my ideas out there. I do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes tend to be lost simply just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Kudos!
