When in doubt, throw it out!
Nothing can have as liberating an effect on your life.
Put it to the test:
Do I need it? Do I want it?
Do I like it? Do I have room for it?
If you haven’t used/worn it in 6 months, give it away. (If it’s seasonal give it a year.)

We all know that every time we run to the store, we buy more than we intended. Save money by grocery shopping ONLY once per pay period. Plan all the meals you’ll eat for the pay period before you shop. Write your grocery list accordingly. Hang the list of planned meals on the inside of a cupboard door (to keep your kitchen clutter-free.) Choose what you’re in the mood to cook from the list.

Have a place for everything and put everything in its place. Don’t buy it if there is no place for it. If it is something that you really want, get rid of something else to create a place.

Motivate the kids to pick up their toys before you read them their good night stories and tuck them in. Do your dishes and put the house together before you shut out the light. We don’t want to start today with yesterday’s work.
