I am a Christian to the core and eternal truth is eternal truth even if wrapped in a different package.  The Law of Attraction is definitely wrapped in  a different package.

An opportunity was presented to me just when I needed it. I was approached by my friend, Don Enck, about a new venture he had undertaken. I had been searching for the right business to join online.

I’ve been studying online marketing for over two years and I could see how everyone was making money! I followed many fabulous people who had found their passion and were making money when they shared. The whole process was exciting and I knew it could be done, but I wasn’t figuring out how it would work for me!

I tried a number of products, got over my fear of network marketing, learned and learned more. I was hanging out, sharing information on my blog, information that I know and love.  Information that has helped me find joy in my life and I’m confident that no matter what the circumstances are , will help others find joy also.

My husband and I raised eight children on one income, he was the sole provider for our home.  I’m forever grateful for his attitude of  “my money is our money” as I was able to stay at home and raise our eight children.   I had planned on going back to work when the kids were in high school then I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and it put a speed bump in my plan.

When I first began my quest to master internet marketing, I was drawn to video.  I bought a Logitech pro 9000 webcam,  and a flipcam then began to make movies, but I couldn’t see how I would be able to make money with them.

It’s amazing how the law of attraction comes into play. As if I ordered it, a friend, Toni King, sent me to Simon Sinek’s movie. Simon teaches about finding the WHY. Why are we motivated to do what we do?  Why was I drawn to video marketing? At Don’s request  I signed up for the free account with  iWowWe and it didn’t take long before I upgraded to the premium membership. With iWowWe I have found an avenue to make the money that I desire even though my circumstance doesn’t allow me to work outside the home!

I am not able to go back to work as I planned, but I am grateful that I was prepared when Don presented this opportunity to me and I am making money online~ I know that my ‘why’ will be obtained with iWowWe!

The Illusion
Although we would like to believe that we’re in control, we aren’t, and yet we still do everything in our power to maintain that illusion.
 
A Higher Source
There is a higher source (which we refer to as God) that recognizes us as divine children with amazing potential.  Why is it so difficult to see ourselves as God sees us?  Why do we often find ourselves arguing with that small voice inside? Could it be that our ego, and fears of rejection, get in the way of what we ought to be doing?

As visitors came to see me when I was sick, in bed, my friends would start to talk about their significant experiences, and then they’d interrupt themselves saying, I’m here to listen to you! You don’t want me to do all the talking!

On the contrary! I was so sick of thinking about Multiple Sclerosis, I had learned more than I ever wanted to know! And I was totally bored with my condition!

As long as my visitors shared their stories, I was able to be distracted. I enjoyed listening to all of the experiences others were going through.

It was then that I started to see that just as Deepak Chopra taught, every experience has a purpose. Even though I recognize Deepak’s eternal truth, I believe in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

I’m sure that God could delete all pain and suffering in the blink of an eye. And He has allowed adversity in each person’s life. The trials are different, all for the same purpose. To get us back to Him.

This is one of the first great lessons that I learned on my MS journey. We all have adversity “God allowed trials”. All trials are Personal Growth Opportunities. Our job is to say to the Lord, AS YOU WISH!

Life is like an onion; you peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes it makes you cry. I was learning and growing, overcoming my faults, and working through “pain bodies” as Eckhart Toole taught. It seemed to me that life is like onions. Every time I would recognize a fault that I had developed, change my thinking process, work through it, overcome my weakness and develop a new, better habit, there would be another layer! Every day, with each step that I was taking, my world seemed better! It was an exciting time! Through the years, every time I’d overcome a weakness, I’d feel great, but I’d see there was something, another different bad habit to work on. I was getting closer and closer to God. I had wonderful, loving feelings about myself, and everyone around me, but there was still more layers!

It seemed that the layers were never ending! One day, in exasperation, I asked God if there wasn’t something better in the middle?! I needed to know that there was something that I was made of, that wasn’t just Ick! It wasn’t until I asked God, that I found out. I spent time in meditation and prayer, with thought and focus on my value, and I saw what was in the middle! I saw what was inside of me! And what is inside of everyone!

The answer came to me in a beautiful vision, it was almost like a dream, but I was completely awake. I saw those layers, it was not layers of an onion, they were more like the layers of a green, leafy plant, these leaves are symbolic of our experiences. Experiences that are caused by us, or upon us by others, either way, they were experiences to be learned from. We will have these experiences every day, it is the stuff life is made of.

In the center of all these experiences, these green leaves, was a wonderful jewel! It was, a beautiful, sparkling, translucent and reflective Diamond! The cut of the diamond is beautifully unique, calculated to optimize fire and brilliance. I saw the crystal, clear color of the diamond! During the struggles, (the layers of leaves), dealing with other’s imperfections, and dealing with my own, this diamond is always there, it’s within me, within us. It’s within everyone, no matter how coated with the leaves of experiences we are. As we learn from our experiences, we will be polished and shined. It is our experiences that make us into what we are! No matter if we recognize it or not, we are, now and always, Diamonds in the Rough!

Thursday, October 1, 2009 I’ve made the decision! The MS is in remission, the only thing holding me back from walking is ME! I’ve always said that if the disease was stopped, I’d be able to re-learn to walk. Now, I’ll prove it! I will continue to eat a predominantly alkaline diet, take my supplements, sleep enough, and fill my life with positive thoughts, feelings and actions! Check back in a month to see how I’m doing!
