Keep On Keeping On with Multiple Sclerosis: Walking Update: August 1, 2010

Time flies! I’m so grateful that I have this accountability with my new-found friends online. It is much easier keeping on with multiple Sclerosis when I have friends tracking my progress! Creating these movies helps me see where I am, it gives me a purpose to keep on!

I have to stay focused on hope and possibilities because I am easily saddened when faced with the reality of my condition.

Having said that, it is what it is. I choose not to focus on the loss.

I have defined a new reality.

This reality is awesome! Whether or  not I’m able to live my life the way I planned, (and I’m working every day to learn to walk again,)  I will continue on this journey! This life is exciting and fun!

Jodie Thompson and Kimberly Castleberry have created Profit Being You, a membership community that has a free tier where you can join to get the support and education to create success online!

Everyone can succeed online, whether or not you have limiting medical conditions. I enjoy helping people recognize success.

Very soon Profit Being You is joining forces with Tribe Syndication Alliance. Now is the time to join for free!

So many of you reading this post, have already joined PBY and TSA! I’d love to hear how you discovered this entire community online!  For you who haven’t, click here Profit Being You and join PBY for free!

    My dear Friend,

You are so brave, honest and sincere. You aren’t afraid to show the world what it is like living (and walking) with MS. On the other hand, your courage and beauty just shine through your video and written word.

To say you are a daily inspiration to me is putting it mildly. Words can’t express how much I admire you and draw strength from your example!

Great job Linda. I admire your courage and your determination! You will inspire many more through your journey. You have a story for others to find and we have you to support and encourage, but also to show us that we have other challenges that we must work on those that may not be so physical but are challenges just the same. Thank you Linda!

You are so right! When I got sick, I realized that everyone has something, not always visible! I wish for everyone that they had a walker! Not to NEED, but to help others around them realize that we shouldn’t expect more from them than they can do! You know, a ‘trump card’ to throw in when life is overwhelming!

Hey Linda…I am proud of you! Keep going and keep sharing your story. You will touch people’s lives. If you ever want to chat about the MS you can get a hold of me…I have a few years (actually over 2 decades) of experience helping people figure out solutions to their health challenges. I don’t know if I have any great ideas or not for you because everyone is so different…but I certainly would be happy to chat with you for sure. I pray many, many blessings for you and your journey.

Wow your eyes are so bright, full of life and smiling to the world and I love the new haircut. I also love the intro and exit of your video very effective. What a great way to catalogue your progress of your walking. You will eventually be able to do a montage capturing a bit from each video to really highlight the progress. You are a true inspiration.

    Linda… You are My HERO!

Between you and I…(and the rest of the world) I mean that with every ounce of my being. We’ve talked before about our respective challenges, and you would never know by speaking with you… that you had any challenge. You don’t complain… you are more concerned with others. You’re amazing!

I know, first hand, what it’s like to hold yourself up by the wall… or not to be able to function the way we’d like to… the way we could before.

Linda… you are sooooo incredibly strong in character! You really are a role model for determination, persistence and faith! I so admire you!

I had to dab my eyes more than once to get through this blog. My meds, usually see me through my day… but once in a while, I don’t do well with mobility issues…and I complain to myself about it. You, my dear are a TRUE Champion in my books!

There is a cellular nutritional supplement available now that apparently has had some positive results with Parkinson’s patients(moi) , Alzheimer’s and M.S.. I plan on staring a therapy of daily dosage at the end of the month. I will let you know how it goes!

You are in my prayers, my dear. If ANYONE can beat this… my money is on You!
    love, Chris

You are too kind! I felt motivated to create this blog, but for different reasons than I planned! When I began, over a year ago, I planned on sharing information about parenting, relationship developement and health and wellness. Because of people like you, voicing the need for support and an example of someone who can, I’ve decided to focus much of my blog on showing everyone that they too can have a wonderful life, no matter what cards were dealt!
I look forward to hearing about the supplement you’re going to try…. I think I’ve tried them all, maybe not :)

I had no idea that you had to deal with multiple Sclerosis, and that’s probably because you always come across as a positive happy person. I think that’s the way to tackle the situation, always remaining possible with the view to success. I’m sure that you will achieve your dreams.
